ItвЂ™s not all that bad as there was вЂrepresentationвЂ™ Alfea Alumni But in the Netflix adaptation, I was glad that Bloom has to meet Stella in her first day (makes sense) but then itвЂ™s like Stella isnвЂ™t pleased to be BloomвЂ™s вЂњbuddyвЂќ. In the original cartoon, she helps Bloom get through Magix and Alfea. I mean in the original cartoon, sheвЂ™s high maintenance but in the Netflix adaptationвЂ¦ I wanted to punch her in the face. Some of the dialogue is alright but someвЂ¦ felt really cringe. But someвЂ¦ I question what have they done. They have chemistry and eventually, they do become good friends. The charactersвЂ¦ what have you done? Stella in AlfeaДonвЂ™t get me wrong, the characters are great. I was happy that some of the scenes paid homage to the original, yet making it their own. Bloom getting her wings and controlling her powers at the last episode reminded me of episode 3 when she had to fight against the Trix to save the Alfea ball. An example, Riven joining RosalindвЂ™s cause with Beatrix and Dean isnвЂ™t a surprise as a similar thing happened in Season 1 when Riven joins the Trix. Just watching the show, some of the plot had some similarities to the original canon. I donвЂ™t know, the fact that they know stuff produced from Earth makes it seem like the Otherworld is part of EarthвЂ™s dimension rather than separate. I understand Tinkerbell because sheвЂ™s a вЂfamous fairyвЂ™ so to speak but IвЂ™d usually thought theyвЂ™d be cut off from вЂњEarth stuffвЂќ. But for some reason, Instagram, Harry Potter, and The Secret Garden are known to them. I thought that Magix or the Otherworld should be in a different dimension or separate to Earth. In the Netflix adaptation, thatвЂ™s the name of their dorm. In the original canon (at least in the 4Kids dub), вЂњWinxвЂќ is where their magic comes fromвЂ¦ whatever that means. And some were completely changed (eg: Magix doesnвЂ™t exist and Alfea is in Solaria вЂ“ StellaвЂ™s planet).ДЄlso, they changed why theyвЂ™re called вЂWinxвЂ™. Some were altered to fit the adaptation (eg: MusaвЂ™s backstory). At least half of the original canon was placed into the show (like BloomвЂ™s Earth life). Just like when I watched Eurovision: The Story of Fire saga, I couldnвЂ™t help myself wanting to see how much of the original canon was put into the show and how much has changed. 'Don't go chasing waterfalls, pre-order the new Funko Pop! Rocks: TLC Pop! and chase figures instead.The show felt a bit reminiscent to what I watched when I was young but also felt something new without ruiningвЂ¦ half of the source material. I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to If we can start getting more singers, artists, and bands with chase Pop variants then I'm sure these will start flying off the shelves. It does look like Funko is starting to explore the music sector of Pop vinyls and this is a great start to show their commitment to the bands. I can imagine that they would be a 1:6 ratio so they will be quite hard to come by but that will only make it more satisfying getting your hands on them. TLC is set to release in January 2021 and pre-orders are already live and can be found here. Funko is really going all out with TLC but getting those chases will be amazing. It is quite rare that one Funko Pop in a wave gets a Chase variant but three is remarkable.
